With the popularity of my shamrock drawing article, it was clear it was time to add in some St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages! These free printable sheets are easy to download for a fun art activity.
I am an artist and teacher named Ms. Marshall, and this is part of my ongoing series of hand-drawn cute coloring pages on different themes. On to today’s offering!
St. Patrick’s Day Coloring Pages

Ready to do art? To download all of the black and white images in this article, simply scroll down until you see a blue button that says “Click Here to Download” — just as with my animal coloring pages. Let’s meet the cast of characters…
A Friendly Leprechaun
First we have a jolly leprechaun, replete with curved-toed shoes, a cute suit, and a top hat. I would recommend inking him in with shades of green, but you do you, since art is all about creative personal choice. We don’t always have to follow traditional conventions when doing our creative pursuits!

A Happy Shamrock Cartoon
After the leprechaun, we have this joyful shamrock. (As you have seen in my food coloring pages, I like to anthropomorphize growing things.) I’ve left room above the clover’s head here for you to write a message, such as “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” — or another salutation of your choice.
These printables are great to use as cards (as are our Pi Day coloring pages), so I wanted to make sure you had space to customize them for your needs. Remember I said there would be a button to download the drawings? Here it is…

Fond Ireland Memories
All of this talk of this Irish-origin holiday is bringing back fond memories of the Ireland road trip I took several years ago. The country exceeded my already high expectations for fabulousness, and was indeed as emerald green as the saying goes!
Speaking of that color, do check out my article on what colors make green, as that can assist in your artistic planning — or for food coloring mixing if you’re baking and decorating cookies for the holiday!
Now, to prepare for one of the next holidays, do make sure to bop over to my Easter coloring pages. Some cute decorated eggs await you there.
