Your Hat Drawing Teacher
As background, I’m an artist and teacher named Ms. Marshall who loves hand-drawing and sharing simple drawing ideas. I teach in a whimsical cartoon line art style that I hope will bring a smile to your face.

As always, feel free to alter any of my lessons to fit your own style — for example, you may choose to leave out the smiling face on the top hat drawing and just sketch the hat, itself. That’s fine! Let’s dive in…

Weather and Hats
Oh wait — now the English teacher in me is coming out! In addition to being fashionable and fun, hats are often worn to ward off a chill in cold weather… which brings us to the “weather vs. whether” spelling challenge. The correct way to write the word for snow, rain, sun, and all the other things happening in the outside atmosphere is “weather” with an “ea.” Oh, and definitely don’t use the all-too-common typo: “weither” — that word isn’t a word at all — it’s just wrong.
Hat Drawing, in Sum
